Combined dry and wet cooling tower with control system is being installed at the customer site. The combine dry and wet cooling tower will be used in power plant.

 

The current air-cooling system used in power plants is mainly a direct air-cooling system. Although the water saving effect is good, due to its high back pressure and the limitation of the existing cooling tower cooling area, the output will be restricted in summer. Combined dry and wet cooling system is a development trend.

 

The combined dry-wet cooling system unit can not only exert the advantages of air-cooled units, but also maintain the advantages of wet-cooled units in saving investment, with high economic efficiency and unlimited output in summer. It is very suitable for the water saving of the unit under variable working conditions, low load water saving at night and water saving in winter.

 

At present, the combined dry and wet cooling system can be divided into three categories: 

  1. Split-built combined cooling system. This system is composed of a dry cooling tower, a wet cooling tower and a surface condenser. In the dry cooling tower and the wet cooling tower, the cooling medium circulates in two completely separated circuits.
  2. Co-built combined cooling system. The combined cooling tower in this cooling system is a mechanically ventilated combined tower that combines wet and dry cooling components in a tower.
  3. The dry and wet heat dissipation surfaces are compacted together with a joint cooling system. The dry and wet heat dissipation surfaces are compacted together and the combined cooling system is suitable for three operating modes: dry and wet combined operation or dry and wet separate operation.
