V Type Dry Coolers

V Type Dry Coolers include a heat exchanger (typically finned-tube or microchannel coils) and fans that direct the airstream through the heat exchanger to cool the water or glycol solution hbrd qsonaz through it. Dry coolers are mostly available in horizontal or vertical airflow arrangements.

Working process:

Superheated refrigerant vapor enters the inlet header connections. Heat from the refrigerant dissipates through the coil tube surface and out to the fins. The adiabatic air pre-cooling system involves fully wetting a fibrous pad located on the air-on side of the coil. Ambient air is drawn through the adiabatic pre-cooling pads by the fans located on top of the unit. The air saturates as it passes through the adiabatic pad, decreasing the ambient dry-bulb temperature to within a few degrees of the ambient wet-bulb temperature. This new air temperature is referred to as the depressed dry-bulb temperature. The pre-cooled air is then drawn through the tube and fin surface, providing a substantial increase in heat rejection capability. Heat from the process fluid transfers to the air, which is then discharged to the atmosphere. Condensed refrigerant exits the unit through the outlet connections.

Key Features:

  • High-Efficiency Heat Exchanger: Our air-cooled heat exchangers use a proprietary design with stainless steel tubes and integrally extruded aluminum fins, developed specifically for industrial circulating water cooling. This ensures a high heat transfer coefficient, easy maintenance, simple cleaning, and long-lasting thermal performance.
  • Compact V-Shaped Layout: The heat exchangers are arranged in a horizontal V-shaped configuration, offering a highly compact structure and significantly minimizing the required footprint.
  • Optimized Flow Design: A two-pass counter-cross flow design maximizes heat transfer efficiency. The single-side piping arrangement greatly simplifies installation and pipe connections.
  • Efficient Venting & Draining: The inclined V-shaped tube bundles include a top air vent and a bottom drain outlet. This ensures smooth air evacuation and allows for the complete drainage of circulating water.

Tube Selection & Key Technological Features

  1. Proprietary Fin Design: Our air-cooled heat exchangers feature a proprietary 6-row, φ18mm stainless steel base tube with integrally sleeved aluminum plate fins, specifically engineered for circulating water cooling systems. The improved bridge-type louvered fin structure significantly enhances air turbulence, delivering outstanding air-side heat transfer performance.

  2. Optimized Airflow Dynamics: The tube layout, fin slit patterns, and arrangement are rigorously optimized to maximize heat transfer efficiency while minimizing air-side pressure drop (wind resistance).

  3. Robust & Washable Fins: Manufactured from stamped hard aluminum, the integral plate fins are structurally robust enough to withstand high-pressure water jetting. The fin geometry effectively guides washing water through the bundles, ensuring a highly efficient cleaning process.

  4. Self-Locking Expansion Technology: A specialized self-locking tube expansion structure is utilized to completely eliminate contact thermal resistance. This significantly enhances the overall mechanical strength of the tube bundle and extends the equipment's service life.

  5. High-Pressure Capability: The integral fin-sleeve expansion process induces cold work hardening, resulting in superior structural strength. The process side is built to withstand high pressures exceeding 8 MPa (approx. 1,160 psi), ensuring safe and reliable operation under demanding conditions.
